Finished Book

So I finished the book No Longer A Slum dog, might I add as I have before, this book has really pumped up my faith even more. As followers of Jesus, your faith needs to stay increased. This book has did this in may ways and I am so blessed, to have received this book as a free gift. Most people turn away from sad problems, but if you turn away from the sad things of this world, then you have neglected to to even try and give hope to what could be turned into something happy.   Don't misunderstand please, the word of God says  in Romans 12:15.....Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep. Reading this book really showed that example and less sadness really traps the enemy.  We don't want to give him any joy to him.
All the kids in this book had a story to tell of how God brought them up out of some rough situations, some things that many adults have not even faced or what you wouldn't even want an animal to experience. It amazes me how good God is and just with one touch of love. He can change a situation around and make it seems as if it was never really there. The kids love for God became so strong, that they would share that love with their parents and even pray for them and in turn, their parents would come to know God. The kids faith was so strong, one child story in the book grandfather was blind and the child told him about how Jesus healed the blind man in the bible and he was able to see. The child faith was so strong that when the child prayed for the Grandfather he was healed and then he started following Jesus. That is just many of one of the stories in this book. The Gospel For Asia Bridge of hope centers has really blessed these kids lives and I know that God is very pleased.
I was very encouraged in many ways, reading this book. I already desired to go to Asia and to be another light for the people. Reading this book has really got me pumped even more. I have been encourged enough to know that when I pray and ask God for something, my faith will be on a very higher level, than it has ever been. My prayer life will grow even more, I am encouraged and amazed at how these kids pray to God without being asked to do so. It is so sad that our kids her in the US is so spoiled to the the point that half of them really don't know how blessed they are, to be able for their needs to get met. Our kids can go to school for free and get free books and half of them don't even want to go. The kids in Asia fight everyday and would love to take their places. I thank that they need to show our kids what the kids in Asia go through and maybe, some of them will get in line, where they need to be.I am just so encouraged, because if God can change these people that don't have anything and they come to know him, then I know that there is still hope for people over here.
Once again, that was a great book and I just pray that everything will be done according to God's will in Asia and that he will keep blessing the Gospel for Asia

Pray For The Children

Some years back I was watching the news and I came across a story on sex trafficking in India. It was something that I didn't know about about and once I watched and learned about it. My heart was very broken, this was really the hands of the enemy, I could picture him in the flesh working through confused souls to hurt what God holds so dear and it is children. These children are sold into sex slavery, by the ones who has brought them into this world at such a young age only. I can not go on with all the details of how these little ones are treated. This still goes on today and I just want to reach out to them all, but I can't and I can't walk around in sad for them daily and worrying about their safety. This stayed on my heart for many days and I had no way of helping, but one thing I could do was pray. Pray is the key to everything and in all things it is what we should do, and that is what I did. I totally gave this to God.

All of this left my mind for a while and it wasn't brought back up until I seen a movie, that was about the trafficking and I had no ideal that the movie would be about this and once again my heart felt so bad once again. I prayed for the kids again and it left my mind again. It seemed to have been like a cycle. The topic would come up many times and each time I would fell sad and yet also anger and I never really understood why, until now. God has his ways of opening our eyes to things.

I got a newsletter from the Gospel for Asia and a free book called No Longer a Slum dog it is about the crisis of children in the world. I started reading it today. The book is filled with real life stories and how God pulled some of these kids up out of the enemies hands. I thank God for his people being all over the world and preaching the good news. I really thank the Gospel for Asia is a great out reach program and I pray that it will grow and have all that it needs to do Gods will.

I desire to do some ministering in Asia and I am praying that God will prepare me for this journey. He may not even want me to go there, and there may be another place that he may send me before going there, but I feel very strong about this and my faith is so strong on this so much, that I will be like Paul when he went to Rome knowing he would die. I want to get the word out although it is being spreaded there already. Hearing the name Jesus being spoken from a perfect stranger can shoot your faith level even higher. I don't know what all God will do, but I will trust him and keep praying about mission and all the kids in Asia and all over the world.

Getting Ready

Our church anniversary is about to come up and I was asked to be on the anniversary committee,I was placed over the decorating committee for the anniversary. God is doing something big, I was asked to do the beach baseball party a little after I was asked to be apart of the committee at church. I am still getting things together, I am working on the centerpieces and I had some stuff laying around the house, I wanted to practice on as an example of somewhat of what I will be doing. I will be posting my updates.

Working progress, but it will all come together, I can't wait until it is complete

Beach Baseball Party

God is really allowing me to explore my talents, I don't know what direction he wants me to take this thing in, but I want move with it any further until he tells me to. I was asked to decorate a little girl's little league baseball party. One of the mom, that asked me to decorated wanted to do a beach theme as well, so I decided to combine it and make a Beach Baseball Party Theme. I had my ideas and ran with it and I think I did pretty good with it, the kids loved it. I was asked to do a another party and I have yet to hear back from the mom, but as I stated in another sentence, I want move until God tells me to move. I am ready to explore all the talents that he has given me, but only when he gets me the okay on it. Here are some photos from the party.

These are my candy drop flower centerpieces

No baseball is complete without peanuts, I placed inside the pink pails

One of the parents made party favors using beach pails, using her talent

Once I got all my ideas on the tables, it really fit the vision I had

A closer look
The kids enjoying their food on the setups
Jada looking at the centerpiece and ready to go for the candy inside the flower. This was a fun event and I enjoyed it. I also had balloons in each corner, that were the colors that was used throughout the decorations.

H.I.S

Well, once again it's the summer and our Church has started High Impact Summer. It's where we minister to communities around the county and give the kids a lot of love by sharing gifts with them, that some of them may not get. We have different on site activities in the communities and we also take some kids off site, to different places, such as  swimming, skating, to museums, other attractions, to the movies or just spending a day with them playing a few games and talking. During each of these events, God is always the center and on every trip that is taken we have a bible lesson that the kids do. The kids understand and know that God is very important and if it wasn't for him, there would be no trips taken or no fun events. So I am being very blessed, this year seeing, that the kids don't complain about doing the lessons. They get their lesson all done and  answer questions about the lesson and then get ready for their fun to begin. Our high impact summer is basically what I call a better vacation bible school. I want to share a few pictures from Fridays trip to the science center in Columbus Ga.
Waiting to leave for our Trip:)

Very encourged!!

So today at Church was very good, and so encouraging and I wanna share this with all who may read. We had a guest speaker  today, by the name of Mark Cahill. Hearing the man speak,  and me being a Christian and on fire for God myself, it was very clear, that he is on fire for Jesus.  He touched on a lot about telling people the good news about Christ and saving the lost souls and how it is so easy to do. I mentioned in another blog, that I do it, but I don't do it enough, well this has really pumped me up. He brought his books with him and I have two, that I will be reading on during the week. One Thing You Can't Do In Heaven and One Heartbeat Away Your Journey Into Eternity.
I really want to do my job as a Christian, here on earth, so that once I stand before God he will tell me well done, good and faithful servant.

I have a test coming up on Thursday and I am a little nervous on it, but I know that I didn't put in enough time as I should, but the stuff I do know, I will give it my all, because I have studied it and all though I don't understand the other stuff, I know that God will help me out. It has been a long time and I know it's time to move on from this spot, that I am in. I will be graduating in June and I will give God all of the praise and I will say this again, my best is about to come. I know God is about to move.I will continue this blog with an update.
